WHAT IS MUD PRODUCTIONS?
MUD Productions is an independent animation and story-development studio creating cinematic story worlds rooted in Urdu literary heritage. Its flagship project is an animated adaptation of Dastan-e-Ameer Hamza.
WHAT IS DASTAN-E-AMEER HAMZA?
Dastan-e-Ameer Hamza is a celebrated Indo-Persian and Urdu adventure tradition combining heroism, courtly life, battles, enchanted realms and ayyari—the art of strategy, disguise and clever escape.
IS MUD ADAPTING THE ENTIRE DASTAN-E-AMEER HAMZA?
MUD’s current project architecture follows a ten-book journey beginning with Badshah ka Khwaab.
WHAT IS BADSHAH KA KHWAAB?
Badshah ka Khwaab is the opening book in the planned journey and the foundation of MUD’s Madain story world, including the palace court, observatory, Bakht Jamal’s house and the seven-door vault.
WHO ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS?
The central trio is Ameer Hamza, Umro Ayyar and Muqbil. The larger universe includes rulers, heirs, witnesses, strategists, warriors, creatures and citizens whose choices shape the story.
WHO IS UMRO AYYAR?
Umro Ayyar is the universe’s master strategist. His ayyari combines disguise, observation, infiltration, evidence and escape; his intelligence is most powerful when it serves a larger ethical mission.

WHAT LANGUAGE IS THE SERIES IN?
The project is rooted in Urdu storytelling.
IS THE PRODUCTION ARCHIVE THE SAME AS THE SERIES?
No. The series is the public story experience; the production archive is a making-of collection that shows how character, world, artifact and scene continuity are preserved.
